March 10, 2010. Tourists stranded in Peru's Manu National Park

Some 30 people, including 21 foreign tourists, have been stranded at Peru's Manu National Park after mudslides triggered by heavy rains blocked the main road to the park on March 9th. Cuzco regional government authorities have asked national police to send helicopters to evacuate the tourists.
