Two people have reportedly been killed and some 130,000 forcibly evacuated as torrential rains continue to batter central Mozambique, according to reports on March 10th. Authorities say water levels have continuously risen in the Cahora Bassa, a major dam on the Zambezi River and authorities have opened the floodgates to ease the pressure on the dam walls.
