March 10, 2010. Jerusalem dispute clouds visit by U.S.'s Biden

United States Vice-President Joe Biden is meeting the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in Ramallah, and the Israeli government's approval of plans for 1,600 more homes in a Jewish settlement in occupied East Jerusalem is expected to dominate the talks. The Palestinian Authority said the move showed the Israelis believed U.S. efforts had failed before they had even begun.
