How does the international claims process work?

If a member sees an HTH contracted physician or facility and makes the appointment online or over the phone, HTH will make arrangements to have the doctor or facility bill HTH directly. This will create a paperless and cashless experience for the member. If a member wants to see a non-contracted provider and gives HTH ample time, HTH will make every effort to make arrangements for direct billing.

If a member pays for services, he or she must submit a completed claim form along with the detailed medical bill from the medical provider. HTH Worldwide can reimburse via wire transfer in U.S. dollars and most foreign currencies or via check in U.S. dollars. Currency is converted as of the date of service, and rates are obtained via www.oanda.com.

Where are claims processed?

All claims will be processed at HTH Worldwide Insurance Services, located in Radnor, PA.

How does a covered employee submit a claim?

Claims for reimbursement of medical expenses or for AD&D benefits must be accompanied by a claim form. Claim forms are readily available and down-loadable from www.hthbusiness.com to registered users. Claim forms and documentation may be sent via regular mail, fax, or email, once received the Claims Department will start the process of adjudicating the claim.
