March 9, 2010. More than a dozen killed in severe weather in Kenya

At least 13 people have been killed as flash floods sparked by intense rains affected at least 10,000 people, according to authorities on March 9th. Authorities say the severe weather hit Mandera, Samburu, Isiola, Garbatula, Tinderet, Lokori, Marsabit, and Moyale.
