February 8, 2010. JRC claims attack on Anglo-Dutch pipeline in Niger Delta

The Joint Revolutionary Council (JRC) militant group claimed responsibility on February 8th for the vandalizing on February 7th of an important Anglo-Dutch oil company's pipeline in Niger Delta, reports indicated. The attack reportedly took place in the Obunoma marshes of Rivers state's Akukutoru and damaged a pipeline running to the Bonny Island export terminal.
