The government seized 72 tons of milk powder allegedly tainted with melamine and is searching for another 100 tons, state controlled media reported on February 8th. Officials claim the powder is from the same batch that killed six children and sickened about 300,000 others in 2008. Security forces shut down two dairies and reportedly destroyed their stock.
